CNC Machinist
Position Summary:

To build on this team, we are searching for a CNC Programmer/Machinist. This role will report to FAB/CNC team leaders and work with other team members to perform CNC programming, setup, and machining of various machine components. The ideal candidate will have a developed understanding of CNC programming & associated operations, mechanical drawings, proper use of measurement tools, and proper use of conventional tool room equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
CNC programming, setup, and operation
Conventional tool room equipment operation (Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
Maintain equipment and work area to meet and exceed company standards
Qualifications:
3-5 years toolroom experience required
Demonstrated skill in programming/operating CNC equipment
High school diploma or equivalent certification (Vocational education preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read/understand mechanical drawings and critical features
Demonstrated skill in the proper use of precision measurement tools
Ability to keep steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing as required to load/unload cnc machines
Work as part of a team or independently with direction from FAB/CNC team leaders
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as required
Ability to obtain Hi-Lo and Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane License

Toolbox
Measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, edge finders, etc.)
Assorted hand tools (hex keys, wrenches, socket set, screw drivers, etc.)
PPE (steel toe boots)
